The Women’s Golf Association Golfing for Cancer Care

March 5, 2009, Lakes at Leesburg:  The Women’s Golf Association of Lakes at Leesburg will hold their Annual “Think Pink Rally” for Breast Cancer. For three straight years this tournament has supported Breast Cancer Care at Florida Hospital Waterman’s Community Primary Health Clinic. The funds raised will pay for diagnostic mammograms for clinic patients.

Approximately 40 women, all clad in some form of “pink”, will tee off and play nine (9) holes of golf at the Lakes. There will be proximity prizes on each hole and a “Rally Hole” with a special prize for the winner. Along with the fun of golfing, prizes will be awarded and lunch will be enjoyed by all participants.
