Tavares, FL:  Florida Hospital Waterman has obtained accreditation by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.  The only mammography provider to have obtained accreditation in Lake County, this designation signifies that Florida Hospital Waterman provides these essential services to the community at the highest standards of the radiology profession.

The breast imaging services at Florida Hospital Waterman are fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that Florida Hospital Waterman has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.
