Services
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists provide rehabilitative services designed to restore mobility and decrease pain. Therapy may include therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, manual therapy, vestibular and balance retraining, back care education, skilled techniques and adaptation to prosthetic devices.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists guide and instruct patients with physical problems to help the patient learn how to function independently. Skilled treatment helps patients in activities of daily living through the use of adaptive equipment, family education, sensorimotor skills, exercise, hand therapy and orthopedic splinting for upper extremity dysfunction.
Speech-Language Pathology
Speech pathologist evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, cognitive, communication and swallowing disorders. They can then assist the patient in recovering their speaking, eating, listening, thinking and writing skills.
Specialty Programs
Aquatic Therapy
The Aquatic Therapy Program consists of performing walking and therapeutic exercises in a body of water. Aquatic therapy benefits include normalizing movements and gait with a goal of carrying over to land activities, thus maximizing functional movement. Acute injuries affecting the trunk (body) musculature, such as motor vehicle crashes, worker's compensation injuries, lumbar fusions, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, total joint replacements, fibromyalgia and arthritis may benefit from aquatic therapy.
Hand Therapy
A hand therapist treats hand and upper-extremity injuries, including orthopedic injuries, tendon injuries, neurological injuries, burns/trauma, overuse and arthritis. Therapist can treat the patient through postoperative rehabilitation; preventative, non-operative, or conservative treatment; or injury consultation.
Women's Health
Our therapists will help you with Urinary Incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and post-partum changes, post surgical conditions and other musculoskeletal problems including osteoporosis.
Neurological Therapy
We offer a team of highly skilled therapists specializing in therapeutic techniques for people with diseases, trauma or disorders of the brain including stroke, parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and other neuromuscular disorders. Each patient receives a multidisciplinary treatment plan individualized to their specific needs and goals. Specialized treatment programs include post-stroke rehab, balance and gait restoration. Treatment is available for both acute and long term conditions on an outpatient basis.
Pilates
Certified Pilates instructors provide a patient-centered rehabilitative approach, focusing on specific individual needs. Your clinician will guide you through a multi-faceted exercise program that will challenge you as a whole being, rather than as a specific injury. Your treatment may involve equipment such as the clinical reformer, cadillac/trapeze table or simply matwork. Pilates-based rehab is a gentle and adaptable approach to skilled care.
Lymphedema
Our certified clinicians design and carry out a plan of care tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Your therapist may utilize skilled manual techniques to reduce edema in effected areas resulting in less pain, greater mobility, range of motion, strength, balance and functional gains which enhance your quality of life.
Cancer Rehabilitation
Our staff offers a number of services, depending upon the type of cancer and treatment intervention to meet patient's individual needs. Working with the physician, the clinical staff will design a program to address pain and physical abilities to ensure the quickest, most effective recovery.
Amputee
Our amputee rehab specialists work with amputations due to vascular issues, traumatic injuries and congenital defects. Programs consist of self care management techniques, prosthetic training including donning and doffing the prosthesis, wound and stump care, prosthetic fit, exercises including strengthening, balance, coordination, endurance and gait training to ensure safe independent ambulation with the prosthesis.
Vestibular/Balance Therapy
Our therapists have received extensive training in the areas of balance and vestibular dysfunction, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Therapy can help with a variety of issues such as motion sensitivity, static balance and gait stability.
