X-Ray

The most familiar form of diagnostic imaging procedures, x-ray uses invisible energy beams to produce images of internal tissues, bones and organs.  Although this modality is the foundation of other types of imaging, the technology continues to develop and remains a medical diagnostic mainstay.

X-ray is used to image bone structure, diagnose lung disease, identify tumors, and evaluate medical device placement among others.
