                                Florida Hospital Waterman Director Earns Top Management Credential

TAVARES, FL:  Bonnie J. Zimmerman, FACHE, Director of Marketing and Physician Services at Florida Hospital Waterman, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s foremost professional society for health care leaders. Fellow status represents achievement of the highest standard of professional development. Only 7,500 health care executives hold this distinction, according to the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

To obtain fellow status, candidates must pass a comprehensive examination, meet academic and experiential criteria, earn continuing education credits, and demonstrate professional and community involvement. ACHE fellows are must undergo recertification every three years.

Ms. Zimmerman has been a Director at Florida Hospital Waterman since 2001. Her undergraduate studies were done at American University, the University of Missouri, and Warner Southern College, and she earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Ashworth University.  She is a member of the American Hospital Association Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the National Association of Professional Women.
